Rose & Gilt is a study in blush and gold — a warm coral and blush baroque border with gold acanthus leaf scrollwork surrounds an inner braided pink-and-gold frame, inside which blush peonies and cherry blossoms drift across the border panels. The play field is a whisper of pale cream, almost luminous.
